On October 18th, 2019, Professor Jacqueline Birt, the Dean of the Accounting and Finance Department of the Business School of the University of Western Australia in Australia, visited our school and gave an academic lecture on the theme of Blockchain, Stakeholder Perceptions and Impact on the Professions for the teachers and students of the school. Professor Jacqueline Birt introduced in detail the history of the blockchain concept, the impact of the blockchain on various industries, and the application of the text analysis tool Leximancer in related research. Related teachers from the Accounting Department, International Education Center, and MBA Education Center participated in the activity.
